What:
Modeled very closely after the internship, the Congressional Fellows Program is a two-month summer opportunity for college students. Ten to 15 students are selected each year to live, work and learn together in Washington, D.C. Fellows live in the Cornerstone Intern House with other students working in D.C. and intern in a Congressional office or another office in the Washington, D.C. area. The schedule includes community service activities, interning 3 days a week, and training/teaching days. Congressional internship opportunities provide Fellows with a firsthand look at the inner workings of our nation’s leadership. One day a week will be focused on learning about the leadership model of Jesus of Nazareth through time spent with various Congressmen, Ambassadors or other leaders. Overall, a Fellow can expect a dynamic and unique summer internship experience that will enrich their mind, heart and resume.

The Congressional Fellows Program is a leadership development and training opportunity for college students who are seeking experiences with the people and activities on Capitol Hill. The purpose of the program is to connect college students with Congressional leaders by providing opportunities for the students to interact with Members of Congress, both formally and informally, with an emphasis on faith and values.
